Debra A. Gill, MPA, CFRE, FAHP

Senior Vice President and Director of Western Division

With more than 30 years of fundraising and capital campaign experience, Deb Gill is widely recognized as a highly skilled philanthropy professional and respected for her expertise in major gift fundraising for complex organizations across healthcare, higher education and social services. She is managing GSI’s expansion toward the West Coast and has provided campaign direction and oversight for large-scale campaigns within the firm’s Western Division, specializing in board development and capacity-building for organizations of all types and sizes.

Prior to joining GSI in 2014, Deb spent 16 years as the chief development officer at Bozeman Health Foundation in Montana, raising more than $22 million. Deb also held lead fundraising positions with Montana State University-Bozeman, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Seattle, and various other organizations.

Deb holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communication and a master’s degree in public administration. A CFRE and FAHP, she has extensive experience presenting at the International AHP Conferences.

Deb resides in Bozeman, MT, with her husband, Michael, a graphic designer. They have two adult children. Her interests outside GSI include home improvement, cooking, reading, swimming and dance.
